What that means in practice

When you follow a link from this site to Amazon and buy something, Amazon pays us a small percentage of the sale. It does not change the price you pay, and it does not depend on you buying the specific thing we linked to.

What it does not change

Pieces are chosen for the look first and linked second. We do not accept payment from a brand in exchange for including a product, and no brand sees a piece before it publishes. Where a look calls for something we would not recommend buying at all, we say so rather than substituting a product that pays.

We do not publish prices. Amazon's prices change through the day, and a number typed into an article is wrong within hours — so we link to the listing and let you read the live price there. We also do not host Amazon's product photography; product images on this site come from the manufacturer.
